This union is joined to a piece of PVC pipe to provide a threaded brass female connection. PVC solvent cement should be used along with cleaner to bond the pipe and plain ended fittings together. The threaded end will connect to a standard BSP threaded fitting, such as those available in our threaded PVC fittings range.
